1959 CE 100D

Oh Yes, Oh My, this is the one, the goods, the real deal.  This guitar is my #1 gigging axe.  I traded a Jerry Jones doubleneck Longhorn that I got for $800, for this piece of true American Guitar History.  It is by far the most beat up, played in, supervibed out guitar I own.  It is signed by Link Wray of "Rumble" fame!!

I put a Bigsby on there (a Guild one I got in Wisconsin for $40)  And I Dipped the pickups in wax, so it never ever feeds back.  The pickups cam from the factory in a reverse wound setup so that when I am in the middle position they are hum cancelling.  I don't think they knew about this in the 50's so I guess it was a lucky break!!  You can hear me play this guitar with the "Billy D. Light Trio"
